Blind people can't see...

If there's one thing that really bothers me, it's how people think that the Call of Duty franchise is innovating gaming. Now I'm not going to say the same about MW3 as it's not out yet, but Black Ops and MW2 are the prime convicts. Does anyone not remember gaming back in early 2006? Rainbow 6 Vegas (R6V)!!! This game was way ahead of it's time, or are the new games using Ubisofts ideas into their new games?

R6V, a genius of a game incorporated repelling in not only it's story mode, but in it's multiplayer as well. If you look at the MW2 pre-release trailers, they emphazided that a player can now repel. This was suppose to be "revolutionary" to the gaming industry.

And let's talk about Zombies/Spec Ops/Combat Training. If you've played R6V you know all these modes by only one name, Terrorist Hunt!

I just find it quite amusing that "fan boys" state their game is better than everyone else's for the simple fact that it's not. What's amusing? The games that this company have taking ideas from and put them in theirs.

And let me not mention how at their weekend showcase of MW3, their different killstreak tiers or whatever resembles a lot of what Dice did with Medal of Honor and it's Support Chain. Just saying.
By no stretch of the imagination am I against Activision/Treyarch/Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer, it's just interesting as how blind people can be.
